Please read the information on this page carefully and contact me if you have any questions.

After booking, you'll receive a request for additional information and we'll speak about the purpose of your photos and the image you want others to see. I'd like to work with you to make this an easy, pleasant, and enjoyable experience. 

1. Choose the session that's best for you. 

Simple Session-$ 200.00

Come in photo ready, dressed and set to go. In 30 minutes or less you're done. You'll receive 2-4 professionally retouched digital images of one look/one outfit. This session is good for professionals or anyone looking for a quality digital image for LinkedIn, social media, a digital resume, or a better online image. You'll see your images at the end of the session and you'll choose your favorites for retouching.

Student Session-$ 100.00

Student Sessions are photo sessions for the undergraduate college student in need of a professional headshot for job interviews, LinkedIn profile, or a professional online presence. HeadShotNJ offers this special pricing with college ID or proof of current enrollment. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Choose a photo at the end of your session for digital retouching. 

 

Individual Environmental Headshot-Start at $250.00

Environmental Headshots are taken onsite: offices, institutions, parks, gyms, facilities, outdoors-HeadSHotNJ brings headshot photography services to you. These photos tell your clients about you and your work environment from law offices to restaurants to rehearsal studios to construction sites. Cost for travel and expenses, or park licenses if required, will be added to the final fee. Office/Group Environmental Headshots-Start at $350.00

On-Site Environmental Headshots are for groups of employees in offices, institutions, parks, facilities, outdoor work facilities, etc. These photos tell your clients about you, your company, and your employees from dental and medical offices to restaurants to rehearsal studios to construction sites. Pricing will vary based on travel, time required, and number of employees. A professional make-up artist (MUA) will be available if desired at an additional cost. Please call or email before booking to discuss in detail the service you require-973-860-8142 or MariaB@headShotNJ.com.

 

Corporate and Business Events-Start at $100/hr 

HeadSHotNJ provides photography services for business, corporate, and organizational events including parties, galas, conferences, and workshops. Rates start at $100 per hour and include basic retouching. Charitable Organizations

I'm pleased to offer discounted pricing and volunteer photography services for qualified 501(c)(3) organizations working to help individuals, communities, and groups or organizations. 2. Book the Session of Your Choice

Click below to book your session online, or contact me directly at MariaB@HeadShotNJ.com or call 973-860-8142. Your account will not be charged until your appointment is approved and confirmed.

Simple Session and Student Sessions can be booked up to a day a head of the desired date. 

Individual Environmental and Office/Group Environmental Sessions require a minimum of 1 week advance booking.

3. Payment

Sessions booked online are paid in full at the time of booking.  Sessions booked by email or by phone are paid in full at the time of the session. Debit cards, Apple Pay, and all major credit cards are accepted. You will receive your receipt via email immediately. No cash transactions please.

Environmental photography services, individual and group, are reserved with an initial payment, $250.00 or $350.00, respectively. Full payment is due on the day of the session. 

4. Show Up for Your Session

Arrive at your session in West Orange or at the Studio in Montclair (Sorry we do not have our own parking lot in Montclair, but there is street (metered) parking and a nearby municipal parking lot. 

If you'll be wearing make-up, arrive make-up ready unless you have requested a make-up artist. Please bring makeup for touch ups if needed.

During your session you will be photographed on a white or black background. If you desire a special background please let me know when we speak. For all indoor sessions you will have the opportunity to review your photos and chose your favorites. For Individual Office Environmental photographs, you will review your unretouched out-of-camera photos at the end of your session. We'll talk about the features you'd like to emphasize and any flaws you'd like to minimize. Getting your photo taken shouldn't be stressful. It should be fun and easy. 

At the end of the session, you'll look at all of your images, choose your favorite photographs and these will undergo professional retouching. 

5. Digital Delivery

You will receive your photographs by digital delivery within  3 business days. Should you require faster delivery, additional fees will be applied. These high-resolution photos are yours and do not require permission or licensing from HeadShotNJ unless they will be used for commercial purposes. After deliver, you may then download your photographs within 14 days of receiving them. If for some reason you are not able to download your photos within that time frame, please let me know so that I may authorize additional time for you to access your photos. 

Group Environmental Headshots will be returned to the employer within a predetermined time based on the number of employees. 

Other Stuff

Clothing: Wear clothing that's comfortable and that makes you feel good about yourself. Avoid clothing that's highly reflective, has busy patterns, or that's uncomfortable. A solid color helps emphasize your face.

Jewelry: Avoid large eye-catching pieces of jewelry that may take attention away from your face. 

Makeup: Wear make up appropriate for the type of photo you're planning, and like your clothing, wear what makes you feel and look good. Generally, simple make up is best. If you'd like to have a professional make-up artist, one will be provided for an additional cost of $100.00 for in-studio work and $150 for on environmental photo sessions. Please indicate at the time of your booking if you would like a make-up artist at your session. 

Hair: Wear your hair in a style you believe flatters your face. Try and avoid a style that covers much of your face especially your eyes.

Appointment Changes & Cancellation: If after booking and confirmation you need to change your appointment, please contact by email at MariaB@HeadShotNJ or call or text 973-860-8142 as soon as possible. 

If you need to cancel your session and are not able to reschedule, you will receive a full refund if cancellation is more than 24 hours of the time of your session. For cancellations less than 24 hours of the session, there is a service fee of $100.00.

Age: Clients must be 18 years of age or older.

Release: Clients must sign a release form prior to the beginning of the session.
